Why is e.l.f. cosmetics so cheap?

Can someone answer me that? Almost everything is $1.00 and yet their products are hypoallergenic, which is something I need.Why is e.l.f. cosmetics so cheap?
Well there are two guideline reasons as to why their makeup is ridiculously cheap:





1. Most of the makeup is VERY cheap/poor quality, and does not come off easily





2. It's called e.l.f. for a reason! Most of the products are as big as the samples you can get from Bloomingdales, the lip gloss (set of 5) are each only as big as your pinky finger, and the brushes are tiny!!!

All makup is cheap to make. It cost chanel the same amount to make their makeup as it costs elf. I think elf is so cheap cause it just charges you a little over the production cost of the makeup. Chanel etc just put their prices up loads!! But in actual fact, they should be charging the same amoint as elf.
ELF Cosmetics are cheap because of the cheap material they use. Remember, you get what you pay for.
