Thailand, is it really cheap to have cosmetic surgery there?

How good is the job of the doctors there? anyone in here tried thailand for cosmetic surgery?Thailand, is it really cheap to have cosmetic surgery there?
I don't know about Thailand, but Argentina is a very good option too. Doctors are great and cheap too. Even some doctors work in the US a couple of months a year.

Recently, a friend of mine had a boob job for 500 dollars and she looks fabulous.Thailand, is it really cheap to have cosmetic surgery there?
Have a look at www.medithai.net/plastic/ - you find a lot of information including prices, phone numbers, feedback etc. and the site is not affiliated to any hospital or agent. Report Abuse

do not go there, don't trust neone with ur body besides top pros, u gotta spend money when it cums to ur body. i'ev seen some horendus stuff on the cheap
Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

my cousin got her breast reduction/liposculpture/buttoc... lift surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company.

As far as thailand is concerened--my advise for you is not to do that-i have seen so many messed up cases from Thailand.

You can also check out this website about the death of an american national in bumrungrad hospital of thailand that you have been recommended

Yes, and there are good doctors there. At least in the best hospitals.

Buamrungrad in Bangkok, is the most famous. Most of the doctors are US trained and board certified. There have been a number of news stories about them in the past year or two. Try searching the NPR web site if they have an archive. I know they did a story.

For pricing, I know someone who just had a nose job. It was at a top(most expensive) hospital and cost B40,000. That's $1,000. Perhaps that's not as cheap as you expected but I think it's a good deal less than in the US.
Yes, try Yanhee Hospital, it is specialized in cosmetic surgery only
you get what you pay for - meaning its cheap but you never know what kind of doctor your going to find.
Try Brazil :) the doctors there are really experienced and not too expensive...
