Stay with the Developed countries and check out the doctor in your home nation. It's impossible to check the qualificaitions in the third world. I heard horror stories of mexican implants. I saw a picture of a former friends mother, yikes. There are also horror stories from Florida too. Vegas is a mix bag, and Los Angeles is relatively safe. This is partly due to how many procedure they do and the legal system of the area. You get what you pay for. I have't heard much in Europe, except their are reasons to go to France. ASk around and make sure you do your homework of who is a reliable doctor. It's not only surgery, but also an art. You can shove a plastic bag in a body, but can the doctor make it look natural. Remember Developed country are safer, because if a Doctor screws up, you can sue. The government has extra protection for the citezen.

I went to a U-Pull-It auto wrecker and got the fender, hood, hood latch, radiator brackets, headlight, bumper cover, and all bolts/clips/etc for $120


you may need help with the hood but if you are careful you can do it yourself.


you need to take ratchets and sockets (10, 12, and 14mm), some extensions/u joints, and a phillips screwdriver and a prybar and hammer (just in case)


before you go make sure your radiator is not cracked and that the fans work. if your a/c condensor (the frontmost smaller radiator) is broken you will need to replace it and recharge the a/c (if you want to leave it broken the car will run fine) Look for a a donor car with original paint if possible. Pay attention to the gaps between body panels when installing the hood and fenders

Go to your local auto parts junkyard (pick and pull) and see if you can find your model to get any parts that may be available.





If your front bumper is plastic and only has a big dent or dimple on it, you can use a c-clamp and some wood to bend and push out the dimples back into normal shape.

They might be cheaper, but do you want to chance having something done at a spa?? I sure wouldn't. Spas are fine for massages, manicures and pedicures, but not cosmetic procedures. They get so little training you have no idea what you will end up with. Could be really bad.

Ulta is a store similar to Sephora but they also carry drugstore brands as well as high end brands. If you're looking for cheaper alternatives to high end cosmetics, you should really go by the product. Revlon and L'Oreal both have great foundations and eyeliners, Maybelline ad Cover Girl have great eyeshadows and mascaras, any brand is good for lip gloss, and Physician's Formula and Jane are good for blushes. You can't do these things to protect your self in Mexico, however, since there is no board that is governed to protect the patient. However would I go to a third world country for this type of procedure? Definitely not! If something does go wrong, do you have any recourse? Would you be able to sue or get some type of retribution as easy as in Canada? In addition, Canada has some of the best physicians in the world.

It does depend on where you are going. Typically, I wouldn't do anything that drastic unless the doctor was referred by someone else. Do your homework though. And don't judge quality by location.

This is probably not the place to ask. Many plastic surgeons will give free consultation. Many may give a discount for all of it at once. However, I bet they suggest doing one at a time for other practical reasons. Get pricing from consultations. Consider saving your money and focusing on a self-image upgrade. People who are not satisfied with their appearance will eventually not be satisfied with their surgery.

Yes, it's very true. I'm going myself. There's some really great dentists there and the work for caps is 1/4 of what you'd pay here in the US.





For one tooth cap it is 400.00. Here it is 1200.00 ~ Major difference.


I read that the reason their prices are so low is because they don't have to pay back 200K in school loans not to mention their taxes aren't high like ours.





My friend went and he didn't have cosmetic work done, but needed a root canal and a few fillings and he came back very happy. That was over a year ago. I don't have that doctors name offhand.

In countries such as Bulgaria they dentistry is very cheap but there is a reason for this. I cant tell you the amount of terrible work i've seen done for patients who come home and are in trouble with it. You cant pop back to the dentist if it giving you problems and dentists at home do not like touching this kind of problems because they might get the blame! I suggest getting healt insurance and getting the work done at home where is safer.
I don't know about particular countries, but in the US there are dental clinics at teaching universities that are cheap or even free if you qualify.

Why don't cheaper cosmetics/creams/hair products work as well as high end ones from Neiman/Nordstroms?

Popular sayings were that cheaper cosmetics worked just as well as higher end ones. Not so true! I've sampled and used SO many from high end cosmetics to low end, and at the end of the day what I find is that higher end cosmetics definitely work better, though are 10x more expensive than lower end cosmetics.





When I used products from L'oreal, Oil of Olay, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Dove, and millions of other middle of the road, and even lower end products, I noticed that they really didn't do anything really for treating aging, lines, etc. They are ok for moisturizing, sunblock, and all that stuff, but when it comes to SERIOUS skin care, and plastic surgery like results, they do NOT deliver.





However when I used higher end products from Neiman/Nordstroms, I find that they work SO well some of them, that you end up having a flawless complexion and they even make you look younger too.





In short: They work MUCH better.





Not all, there are some higher end cosmetics that are total ripoffs but,








is there just more research time and development put into higher end cosmetics?





If we're serious about skincare, should we spend the money on one or two of the higher name brands, and just ditch the lower stuff altogether?





Same goes for hair and hair products.

When you get your hair ';professionally'; done and use those professional products, your look is 10x better than if you were to buy your own dye and do it yourself etc.

Shiseido and Kanebo have lots of different lineup of cosmetics in japan that are not found outside the country. Some with very attractive packaging. But they are almost the same priced as in singapore. but of course, a little cheaper. but not by much. but if u are looking forward to get cosmetics that aren't found here, it's heaven there.


the makeup counter girls speak very minimal english. try to use monosyllabic words like ';try, ok?'; instead of ';can i try this on?';


but they are very good in service and very friendly, they'll be more than happy to serve you. whether u buy, or decide not to. just return them a smile and ';sorry, thank you.'; if u decide not to purchase after all the service.

Nothing is cheaper when it comes to Shiseido and Kanebo. The only cheap price of make up can be purchased at Yen shop.


I don't think these make up representatives would speak English but there must be somebody that could understand English and you can try their make up anytime as long as you can trust the product they would apply on your face. Yes, try to bring your current product and you can show to them too. Depends on your skin type, might be allergic to other products that you will purchase and no return policy.

a little advice... you pay for what you get.... you want to go to a doctor who is quality NOT quantity!!! A dr. who truly cares about the work that as well as their patients they do is key, you don't want to go to a dr. who is cheaper but in the long run you will end up paying more for reconstruction. Why would you want a student to do something like plastic surgery? Not that students don't know what they are doing but really...when it comes to plastic surgery I think money shouldn't be an option. You know what they say, the cheaper something is the more problems it will give you in the end. Just like TJMaxx and Ross can sell the same suit you buy in a Mall store for half the price, these websites buy quantity wholesale of an item and don't mark it up as much. You may also want to check on eBay and amazon for your favorite items. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure the items shelf date is still good. Did it occur that maybe they can sell it that cheap because maybe it's old stock that other retailers have sold off to them or because they sell other items like animal minerals, or whatever, so they can lower their prices by that much. I work for a department store than can sell products cheaper than competitors because we have the buying power to do so and we have a variety of products of all price ranges that brings in the revenue.





Bee Royal Cosmetics (don't sell to Australia as far as I know so I'm just presuming) probably don't sell as many products as rose joyce and are forced to raise their prices to cover their costs and still be profitable or they consider themselves to be a premium or prestige brand and can sell products at a higher price because it donates status and quality. I wouldn't be so quick to call it a scam!!





If rose joyce sell the products that are the latest stock not just rebought and slightly outdated stock then as a customer your laughing, but I have my doubts that your getting the same quality!!

Wow, ';gosh';. Ya know, it wouldn't suprise me. I know that Lancome are made by l'oreal, and so are probabaly the same products. Makeup is actually very cheap to produce. ELF costs the same to make as MAC does, you just end up paying for the name. I myself have seen similarites between gosh and MAC - both makeups are very high quality, and they have the same sort of bright colours. Maybe, to test your theory, get a coloured liner of eyeshadow from each brand. Test the texture of it, how long it stays during the day and the amount of pigments (colour) in them. But I think that they probably are the same. Thats why I usually buy high street makeup. probably walmart
for base make-up like foundations compacts, concealers and such you are best off with a higher end brand. i like neutragena. but for lipsticks, glosses, liners, shadows, bronzers, and such you can save a lot of money going with the cheaper stuff. I love NYC, there stuff is cheap and is just as good as the expensive brands. as for stores, walmart and target will have cheaper stuff then the pharmacies.
